It feels so good to be home! Lisa picked me up at the airport last night. We drove to Ludwig’s but it was crowded. Instead we went to a Japanese restaurant nearby. The sushi was gummy but the red bean and green tea ice cream was great!

At home Lisa took out her little laptop with the wireless card and showed me how JOHN BECK HAS COMPLETELY TAKEN OVER OUR NETFLIX PAGE! It’s true! Every movie has a John rating and every recommendation is from his queue. This isn’t a bad thing, just funny. One thing that delights Lisa is that John has rated only 466 movie whereas Lisa has rated 1,916 movies! I think Lisa is a little miffed that the account is in my name so it isn’t apparent that she is the one who has stayed up many a night rating movies.

This afternoon Lisa and I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and bought a slip cover! It only cost $40.00 thanks to a 20% off coupon I got in the mail last week. The cover is taupe and matches very well with my purplish brown rug. We even hung a curtain to divide my sleepting area from my office. It looks great.

Audra came over and I made dinner. We watched Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. It was horrible! The funniest part was the very end where all the former child stars came out and did a We Are the World type of concert. I couldn’t understand why Carmine “The Big Ragoo” and Jeff “Kenickie” Conaway were there since they really weren’t child stars. Carmine, er, I mean Eddie Mekka was in his 20’s when he was on Laverne and Shirley and Jeff was definitely in his 20’s when he was in Grease.

So I figure I struck out last week with my last eHarmony matches. I had two phone conversations but neither guy has called me back. Oh well. There are other fish in the sea.
