JC Penny

The slip covers were $150.00! Can you believe that?!?! Maybe Lisa can price fabric while I am in Chicago this week and see if reupholstering is a cheaper alternative. I hope I sleep better tonight. Gosh I have no desire to pack. I don’t even know what to pack. How is it possible to have a huge closet packed with clothes and not a thing to wear? Thus is my life.
Lisa made a terrific dinner tonight. She made lasagna with Ronzoni no cook pasta. It was unbelievable tasty! I also had far too much red wine. Even though I drank two glasses of water and have spent time in the little cowgirl’s room, I still feel tipsy. Probably I should walk it off but it’s late and I really should get to bed.

You reupholster expensive furnature. If what you have costs alot i would re.up. If it is not, just save up and buy something really nice that you won’t get sick of looking at. 🙂

Well then– if not reupholster than create our own slipcover. 150.00 just seems rather excessive for fabric to me. Maybe 150.00 is reasonable, I don’t know.

Just throw a blanket over the couch
    problem solved
cost zero dollars, plus if it gets dirty just throw the blanket in the wash

To reupholster a common 6 ft sofa costs several hundered dollars. A Custom slipcover costs anywhere from 250-500. They aren’t cheap, but they are durable and well worth the money. Remember anything nice/custom is going to cost quite a lot of money because you are paying for labor. Anyways good luck
