Is this an improvement? Or a step backwards? I’ve been yearning for something new. I like the way it looks on a higher resolution screen. At 800X600 it is somewhat lacking but then again I don’t get too many people at that resolution so should I really care?
Well, we can try it out for a few days and if it is determined it’s no good, the old version is easy to restore.

I like it! Very clean and easy to read.
I like it too 🙂 this way I’m able to read the links on the right. Merry Xmas!
It is very neat and tidy. Maybe even too neat and tidy.
Had I my druthers, I’d have the columns about 24 pixels farther apart, but that’s just me, and anyway I’m using some unspeakable screen resolution.
Looks good! For the old LAN computers I have access on its good. Even with a fast connnection, it took a while sometimes. I just with I had my work computer hooked up to the web somtimes. Oh well have a good one and a great! Christmas

It was probably slow to load because my provider charges me just 18.00 a year! They are known for their cheapness, not speed or reliability. 🙂 And Charles, I would spread the columns if I only knew how! I just use a css template. Whenever I try to get creative the darn thing falls apart! I did right align the left column to make it a little bit more roomy– hopefully it helped.
I agree, very neat & tidy, but my first impression (having been away from your site for a bit) was that somehow something was missing. Everything DOES seem to be here (of course), but the information density seems to have decreased… which IS cleaner, perhaps, but maybe a little less… rich. Makes me think of that comment from the Ts’ai Ken T’an, “Water which is too pure has no fish.”
Having said all that, I’ll get accustomed to it, & the most important thing is we’ve still got access to your thoughts. That’s what counts at the end of the day.
Take it easy, & have a great time with your loved ones.
