Two Trick or Treaters showed up at the door. Little girls in their early teens dressed like punks.
We started to get ready around 8:00. Lisa dressed like a punk, Audra as a nerd and I dressed as a swinging 60’s chick. Our outfits matched our personalities well. At 9:00 we headed out the door. New Hope and Lambertville were empty. That is what happens when Halloween falls on a work night.
The Inn of the Hawk had a band playing and all around the bar sat people in crazy Halloween costumes. We ordered drinks and talked with the locals.
After about an hour, I leaned over to Audra and said: “Audge, we are some pretty nice fisherladies but this darn pond has absolutely NO FISH!” Audra agreed. It is a nice bar and the people are lovely but in terms of eligible men, the place was empty.
At around 11:30, we made our way home. I washed off the cat eyes and white lipstick and fell asleep almost immediately. I had dreams of my grandfather picking me up and spinning me around. Now it is time to work. I wonder if there are any ponds around here that do have fish?

You should have all come to the Late Night Series on Friday if you were around. Baby fish but would have been a fun time. I was an astronaut!
I’d like to believe there’s a fish out there looking for you 🙂
That should’ve read…I like … not I’d like.
Sorry Monday morning, draggin a bit today
