I had such a nice day. In the morning I weeded my garden and planted lilies. Lisa and I had lunch together outside. The weather was beautiful. Then a surprise package arrived from Dawn Eden! Two Monkees books and a book on the Beatles! Do I have to tell you that had I received this package 17 years ago, I most likely would have peed myself in excitement? Luckily, with age and experience, I have learned to control my bladder. If I ever collect my scanner from my parent’s house, I will have to post some pages from the one book, Monkees go Mod. It is such a product of the 60’s– I love it! Dinner was spent at my parents’ house. My dad cooked pork chops, kielbasa, and bratwurst in sour kraut; it was delish! After dinner, my Mom and I went to Sears where I finally bought drapes for my house and a SUIT FOR $30.00!!!! Yes, a beautiful suit that fits me to a T! Jacket, slacks, and skirt! $30.00! I LOVE clearance. Now I am sitting at my desk trying hard not to fall asleep.
