Had Good Friday dinner with Mom and Dad. Halushki, pierogies, fish, and paska. Very, very yummy! After dinner, Lisa and I went shopping at K-Mart. I bought a VHS tape, Cardio Salsa (for $5.00!!!!). I am always so tired and cold. Maybe if I exercise, I will start feeling better.
The last part of the evening was spent at the Logan Inn’s bar. My favorite bartender wasn’t there which disappointed me slightly. He reminds me of a man I once crushed on back in college. Lisa says it’s because they are both H types. I once asked her to explain what she meant by H-type and she said, “Just like H*: Asexual, introverted, non-threatening, weak, and pasty.” Yep, that’s my type!

My grandmother is getting older every day but just reading your entry reminded me of my youth and pierogies. Yumm 🙂
1. Yummy sounding meal; I’d be interested in knowing what filling was in the pierogies.
2. Please oh please don’t adopt the practice of making up verbs from nouns. It started with government and military officials trying to sound intelligent and has become a boil on the body cultural.
3. Accumulated a little baggage on the way, eh? Join the crowd. 🙂
I have an alternate theory as to the appeal of that bartender- the same way young female bank tellers have a higher incidence of acquiring a stalker, (one psychologist cited the fact that a girl is smiling and giving money to a man) bartenders can be appealing because they’re handing out a product with an immediate payoff- a strong drink. And occasionally attention. (I used to bartend. I couldn’t bear having to babysit drunk horny lonely men..) Anyway, yeah, maybe there’s a resemblance issue there, but more likely his current role in your life. Cheers!
LOL on the H-types, maybe I should look in a mirror? Anyway, Happy Easter, Donna!
Hi Gaby:
It’a good theory but in this instance– he really is my type– Lisa hit it on the head. I am not much of a drinker and we don’t go to that bar often, only when I am in the mood to see him. In fact, it was two summers ago that I decided I liked him, mainly because he was wore knee high socks with his shorts.
🙂
