your in

Lisa and I are trying to figure out what to do with Bo now that I will be working away from home. He is used to having someone at home with him through the day. No longer can he pee in the morning, at noon, at 4, again at 7 and then at 11. We have considered introducing a litter box but I am not terribly confident he will use it. We have enough trouble getting him to alert us when he needs to pee that training him to use a litter box might be too much on his little pea-sized brain. Our other idea is hiring our crazy neighbor to come to the house at around noon and let him out a for a little pee break. The other idea is locking him up in the kitchen. The problem with locking him up is he always somehow finds a way out. He must hate it terribly and I couldn’t put him in a situation he doesn’t like. I just don’t know what is the right decision. Maybe there are more choices we haven’t even considered. What do other owners do with their little dogs? I mean, Bo can’t be the only dog in the world who has to spend 8-9 hours alone. Right?

I put on that necklace I bought at Rice’s yesterday for $2 and I realized why it was only $2. It’s not symetrical. It isn’t strung correctly. I am not upset, Lisa is quite the jewelry maker and so she can restring it for me.

I just looked outside my window and there are snow flurries! I guess the warm temperatures are over. My days of unemployment are numbered. I really should figure out what I want to accomplish during these last few days and do it.

Odds and Odds

Lisa got very excited when she heard that the American Idol kids would be singing Stevie Wonder songs.
“You do realize that this is Stevie WONDER and not Nicks, right?”
She acted very hurt that I would even mention it but her excitement definitely seemed to die down.

Rice’s Market was a blast. I bought a car charger for my RAZR ($3) and new earphones for my MobiBLU ($3). I also got a pretty little necklace for just $2! The rest of the day was spent running errands. Tomorrow I am going to Studio 38 so Aprille can cut my hair. I don’t want to look shaggy at my new job!

Rice and Beans

Lisa took the day off work. We are going to Rice’s Market. That’s where I bought my cashmere scarf that I wore all winter long (and I only spent 7.00 on it!). My mom was there last week and said the vendors had such great stuff. I am looking forward to going.

The weather has been absolutely wonderful! Last night, the weatherman said that the warmth was just a teaser and that the temperature will be dropping. Grrrrr!

A week and a day until I start my new job. I am excited! (And a little scared but I refuse to dwell on that part)

24ed out

Can someone tell me why I subject myself to 24? I had to take a break and walk around my bedroom again this evening! When the guy in the room with Mackenzie Astin’s brother made the phone call to his kid, I just about broke down! This is a very hard show to watch.

BTW Is it just me or does Jack’s daughter look too old to be his daughter? I keep thinking she’s his girlfriend. That’s just creepy.

24

24 minutes until 24. Well, almost. Mom and I went shopping earlier today and I bought a couple of suits. They fit so nice and look so professional! Lisa got home early and we dropped her car off at the mechanic’s. Instead of going back home, we went to Walmart. We usually stay away from Walmart but for some reason we felt a pull and we ended up buying a few odds and ends.

I am looking forward to seeing Ponyboy although I hate to get attached since undoubtedly he will die in some horrible manner. We shall see.

WOW!!!!

Dear Klaus,

I just saw your comment! I am elated that the one and only HENRY VALENTINO (a.k.a Hans Blum) viewed and enjoyed my humble little Web site. I am a huge Henry Valentino fan and know all the German words (of the first 2 verses) to Im Wagen Vor Mir by heart! He is right up there next to Stephan Remmler and Max Raabe in my mind!

Sorry this had to be a public note, I was unable to find your email address

Love,

Donna
