Martha

Over 35 million people watched the premiere of 24 last week. I am looking forward to watching tonight’s episode.

Right now I am watching Harry Hamlin on some Martha Stewart show. He’s wearing a Team Rinna shirt. I think he’s whipped. Heck, he was whipped back when he played Perseus in Clash of the Titans.

Martha just showed how to make ginger tea. Take ginger root with the skin on and chop it up. Add it to boiling water. Add a teaspoon of brown sugar. Serve! She also said yogurt and applesauce are good together. I’ve never tried that. Usually when I eat yogurt, I’ll mix it with a small spoonful of jelly.

I just saw a preview for Big Momma’s House 2. I didn’t even know there was a 1. I am tired of skinny people in fat suits. It’s not funny. Please stop, Hollywood. Please. Find a new target.

A Meme from AWTM

I was tagged with a meme.

Four Jobs I’ve Had in My Life:
1. Bakery. I worked the cash register, folded cake boxes, and squeezed gallons of week-old icing into the sink.
2. Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library. I put away books, filed the card catalogue, pasted library card pockets into the back of books, and typed the Dewey numbers on labels and glued them to book spines.
3. West Coast Video. I worked the cash register and put away videos. My least favorite part was having to rewind porn videos that were invariably returned 3 hours later, slightly sticky.
4. Corporate pawn

Stuffnpuff

We went to the shore. Although it was cold, it was still enjoyable. Instead of going back to the Donnavilla, we went to M&D’s house for dinner. Mom served chicken and mushroom, peas, salad, and for dessert, a fruit cocktail cake. I must transcribe the cake recipe, it is simply delish!

I was on Amazon.com earlier and I found a better Cingular deal in which the RAZR IS FREE!!!!!! I am calling Cingular tomorrow to complain. That’s just not right. Not right at all!

Tomorrow I must do my final (I think) expense report for my old company. Then I am going to apply for unemployment and search the classifieds. Most importantly, I have to remember garbage goes out tomorrow. I have so much that needs to be thrown. Goodness, I also have to fill out that Vonage paperwork. I also have to buy stamps and I have mail that needs to be taken to the post office.

Shore

I think Lisa and I may go to the shore. The weather is absolutely beautiful.

I found my black jelly bracelet. I lost it a couple of weeks ago. Last night I came upon it while searching through my bedside table for a pen to do a crossword puzzle.

I’m trying to figure out how to transfer pictures from my phone to my camera. An online article I found says this:

To transfer pictures from the phone to anywhere else you have a choice of three methods, with varying degrees of cost and complexity :

*Connect the phone to a computer and transfer the files if you have the Motorola data connectivity software

*Send the pictures by MMS or email (this will probably incur a fee from the wireless service you use)

*Send the pictures by Bluetooth to some other Bluetooth device nearby

I am going to have to figure out this Bluetooth thing– maybe my computer is already enabled….

21st

Last night, my mom and dad came over for dinner. I ordered Chinese food. Originally my plan was to cook but after shopping with Audra, I was tired. The Chinese food turned out to be a good idea, everyone enjoyed it. After dinner I brought out a Black Forest ice cream cake from Sweet Hearts in Morrisville and Lisa made coffee using my father’s mix. We spent the rest of the evening in the parlor talking and gawking at Bo. It was a nice Birthday/Anniversary party.

Whew!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, MOMMY & DADDY!

My father was born 68 years ago today. Then 24 years later, he and my mother married.

gowns

Audra, Lisa, and I went to David’s Bridal this morning and shopped for wedding dresses. We found two that really suited Audra although neither were purchased. The dresses were between 350 and 600 dollars. I can’t imagine paying that much money for a dress that will only be worn once. Looking at the dress that cost 350.00 I thought, this dress is equal to 3 1/2 RAZRs. I still have no perspective.
