You won’t believe this!

Lisa and I left this afternoon to run a few errands. I set my spycam for motion detection and placed it overlooking the kitchen. When Lisa and I got back home, Bobo was sitting on the third step of the stairs, waiting for us. Checking my computer, I found this recorded:
Bobo climbs the gate, but hesitates… The camera stopped because Bobo must have froze as he balanced atop the gate. It picks up again as soon as he makes his decision to…
JUMP!!!!

My little puppy, the daredevil!

Oh and…

The spammer is now using another email address of mine. I turned off my first email account just in time to start receiving the bounced emails on another account. I really believe that there is a special place in hell for spammers.

Another Friday Night

Lisa and I spent our Friday evening at… IKEA!!! Here are the items I bought:

Lamp
Curtain Rod and fastener
Ice Cream Scooper
Pack of demitasse spoons
Plastic bag dispenser
Tray

A couple months ago I bought a curtain to separate my office from my bedroom. Instead of buying a curtain rod, I thought I could just staple the curtain to the ceiling. I don’t have to tell you that wasn’t the smartest idea in the world. Especially when Bobo decided he enjoyed tugging at the curtain with his teeth. Speaking of which, Bobo has somehow learned to escape the kitchen while Lisa and I are away. Tonight was the second time we found him roaming the house when we got home rather than in the kitchen. He must somehow climb the kiddie gate. Next time we leave him, I am going to set my spycam on motion detection and see if I can capture him escaping.

SPAM

It started yesteday, bounced emails landing in my Inbox. These weren’t emails I sent, they were spam. Thankfully not porn spam but IPO/stock spam. Apparently some spammer is using my email address as the reply to. I am guessing he just wants people to click on the link rather than reply to the email. So in addition to the bounced emails, I have emails from people asking me for more information— or at least that is what it seems like since the emails are in Spanish. Maybe they are saying, STOP EMAILING ME! I called my ISP to let them know what was going on but they said there was nothing they can do. I can report it to their Spam department but they are so overwhelmed that the likelihood of getting back to me is slim. I feel this is identity theft yet I am not sure what to do. I could just turn off that email but then the spammer will have won.

Suggestions welcome

No Go

My meeting was cancelled last minute. That means this evening, instead of sitting at the airport, I can watch And Now … Ladies and Gentlemen , starring Jeremy Irons and directed by Claude Lelouch. Jeremy Irons portrays a jewel thief who falls in love with a nightclub singer and together they start succumbing to strange blackouts that they can’t explain. DOESN’T IT SOUND FABULOUS!?!?!?! I can’t wait to watch it! I love Claude Lelouch movies: Hasards ou coïncidences, Un homme et une femme, etc…

I am all grown up

Last night Lisa and I went to Home Depot and I dropped a bundle of cash on a new GE Dishwasher. I could have bought an mp3 player or a new summer wardrobe. Instead I opted for a dishwasher. A dishwasher!?!

A Conversation

“You know Donna, wouldn’t it be nice if you had just a little free space on your desk to actually WRITE?”

“Write? Oh Lisa, that is so archaic!”

Goop

I completely lost track of the date. I knew I had a meeting on the 28th but for some odd reason I was certain the 28th was next week! Scanning through my email, it finally hit me and I quickly bought a ticket and reserved a room for Wednesday and Thursday.

Last night Lisa and I watched Gidget. I must have seen that movie at least 3 times and yet watching it last night it was like seeing a movie I had never seen before. I remembered the premise and the characters just not the individual scenes. Apparently Tom Laughlin portrayed one of the surfers, or at least so says imdb.com. I have to go back and re-watch it and see if Billy Jack really was a surfer boy.

Tonight is House and Lisa is going home to watch it with Mom. I will probably stay home and try to sort through my closet. I really need to pack up my winter clothes and get out my summer stuff.
